Main Responsibilities

As a Lashing Specialist, your daily duties may include:

• Secure and remove twist locks from shipping containers.
• Install and remove lashing rods, turnbuckles, and other securing equipment.
• Ensure containers are properly fastened before loading and transportation.
• Follow all operational procedures and workplace safety regulations.
• Conduct visual inspections of lashing equipment before use.
• Report damaged equipment or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Assist crane operators and other logistics personnel during container handling activities.
• Support daily cargo operations efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work equipment.
• Work closely with supervisors and fellow team members to achieve operational targets.
• Attend regular safety briefings and operational meetings.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management when required.
