ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Hold Baggage Screener, you will play a crucial role in maintaining airport safety and security by ensuring that all checked-in luggage is properly screened before being loaded onto aircraft. You will be part of a dedicated aviation security team responsible for safeguarding passengers, airline operations, and airport infrastructure.
This position is essential in supporting Singapore’s world-class aviation security system and ensuring compliance with international safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, your daily duties will include:
• Operating advanced security screening equipment to inspect oversized, irregular, and standard baggage
• Conducting X-ray screening of all checked-in luggage in accordance with strict airport protocols
• Identifying and reporting suspicious items or prohibited materials discovered during screening
• Ensuring all baggage is processed efficiently while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail
• Following all aviation security procedures, operational guidelines, and safety regulations
• Coordinating with airport security officers and operational staff to ensure smooth baggage handling processes
• Maintaining vigilance and professionalism in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment
• Supporting continuous improvement in safety standards and operational efficiency
This role requires focus, responsibility, and the ability to work effectively in a structured security environment.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

WORKING SCHEDULE
The position follows a structured shift system to support 24-hour airport operations.
• 12-hour permanent shift (Day or Night shift)
• 4 working days followed by 2 days off
• Rotational scheduling depending on operational requirements
• Overtime opportunities may be available depending on workload and airport demand
