Job Responsibilities

As a Bread Baker or Bakery Apprentice, you will play an important role in supporting the daily production of freshly baked breads and pastries while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and food safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist with the preparation and production of a wide variety of breads, buns, pastries, and baked goods.
• Support the baking process, including mixing ingredients, preparing dough, stuffing, shaping, proofing, baking, decorating, and finishing bakery products.
• Learn to operate bakery machinery, ovens, mixers, proofers, and other production equipment safely and efficiently under the guidance of experienced bakers.
• Prepare ingredients accurately according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
• Ensure all bakery products meet quality standards before being displayed or delivered to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, baking tools, and storage areas throughout the working day.
• Follow all food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and workplace health procedures to ensure a safe production environment.
• Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and packaging materials, and assist in replenishing stock whenever necessary.
• Support the bakery team during busy production periods to ensure customer demand is consistently met.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, organizing storage areas, and rotating stock using proper inventory practices.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to maintain smooth daily bakery operations.
• Perform additional operational duties assigned by management whenever required.
