NURSING / HEALTHCARE CLEANER IN SINGAPORE

POSITION OVERVIEW
A reputable healthcare support services provider in Singapore is seeking responsible, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join its healthcare cleaning operations.
As a Nursing / Healthcare Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment within healthcare facilities. Your daily duties will involve cleaning and sanitising patient areas, hospital wards, treatment rooms, toilets, common areas, and other designated spaces.
This position is suitable for individuals who are physically fit, responsible, and willing to learn. Previous healthcare cleaning experience is not required, as comprehensive on-the-job training and structured onboarding will be provided.
The role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional healthcare environment while working as part of a supportive and organised team.

WORKING HOURS
Employees will be assigned to rostered shifts based on operational requirements.
Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employees may be required to work weekends, public holidays, or overtime when operationally necessary. Shift schedules may be adjusted according to workplace requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, hospital wards, treatment areas, corridors, and common facilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of toilets, bathrooms, and other designated areas
- Collect, handle, and dispose of general and clinical waste according to established safety procedures
- Transport and handle soiled linen safely and efficiently
- Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and hygiene consumables
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly
- Follow infection prevention, workplace safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
- Maintain cleanliness standards according to healthcare facility requirements
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or incidents promptly to supervisors
- Complete assigned cleaning duties within the required schedule
- Perform additional cleaning and support duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
- Physically fit and able to perform routine cleaning and manual tasks
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Responsible, punctual, reliable, and disciplined
- Able to follow workplace instructions and established procedures
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to work rostered shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required
- Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hospital support, or healthcare services is an advantage but not essential
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to adapt to a structured and fast-paced working environment
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position is based in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities in Singapore’s East Region. Employees will work in an environment where cleanliness, hygiene, infection prevention, workplace safety, and teamwork are important priorities.
